Statement of Faith

I believe in one God who exists in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God - was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again, and then ascended into heaven and will return at the appointed time.

I believe that the only way to receive God’s gift of salvation is through the acceptance of His son Christ Jesus.

I believe everyone who accepts Christ as their Savior receives the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit who acts as a comforter, teacher and guide.  

I believe God gives gifts to His children through the work of the Holy Spirit for the benefit of the body of Christ.

I believe that God has revealed himself in His Word which is the only inspired, inerrant, and authoritative word of God.

I believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith become children of God, forgiven for all of their sin and promised eternal life in heaven.
